In the story the young Goodman Brown the main point it is focusing on is on  a fight  between good and evil  under  an opportunity from one’s faith and the bad of the evil life. As the theme of the story was focusing on humanity’s weak and corruptiable nature which it’s trying to say that their is a huge difference in them and that it can easily change the people’s desire. This story symbolize the innocence of good men that all tempted  and some of them extent to give it all. Therefore in the story itself it represents that

The main point of my essay would be the thesis statement because it will gran the readers attention and it will give them an overview of what they might read in the essay about. Yes, it would be easier to reflect on a story like “Young Goodman Brown” and other stories with a prompt.

My first impression on the article is that it is a good article that we can get something out of and it talks about us having a bad concept of English and if we get rid of it you can think more clearly. But also it gives us examples of not using metaphor, simile or other figure of speech to see a print, cut out words if it{s possible that  would also help us and never use passive when you are also using an active and etc.

I can understand that the time i used helps me improve on my decisions I make about how I use my time be knowing how to manage it and how to use it instead of letting my time go to the trash because in any time I have free I can do is something useful then just being on my phone.

My dominant time allocation is by setting up a time to do my things so I can be organized it is technically like creating a scheduled for me to doing all the things I have to do that day. My habits in time to support my goal by keeping me on track and for me to try hard everyday to accomplish my goal.

My first impression on the article is that it's an amazing article because it talks about the past in a way for us to get an image while reading the story. For example from my point it was in a way saying that water was the only thing that had existed before earth and in the story it's in a way teaching us a lesson saying  that through a lot  of effort and with hard work you can accomplish your goal. But also the story was like believing that greater being were created on earth.

Today in class we had a conversation on emails like what is appropriate for email and what isn't appropriate. During our class discussion we learned that we have to be changing our email passwords at least every 30 day because people an hack your account and get your information. Also that you should get a 2 step verification so when ever someone is trying to get to your accounts they can't because they will need a verification number but also that everything we text isn't keep confident it's something public that can be posted anywhere that's why you should be careful with what you send when your texting, emailing or being on social media because now a days everything is public for others to see.

I believe that this is one of a essay that I agree on and disagree on at the same time because he is some what  saying facts that are generally true but some of his idea in my opinion are different because he judges you easily without knowing you and he also calls people who like to explore that they are criminals.

Today I felt good about my written because I understood that you are writing things to get understood and I am letting my thoughts out and expressions and also showing the public who I am and how I feel so they can get a better concept of me and understand my thoughts I write in this blog so they don't end up criticizing you.

So today in class I was thinking in class while Dr. Preston was taking about mindfulness and how it will help us concentrate better but he was also talking and showing the whole class how and what we are going to do for the whole week  which I feel it will be something helpful for the class and me because we can already have a view of what class might look like that for that day.

My first impression was that you can easily change the way you are thinking and make a wrong decisions. in this article is about a fight between the good and the evil under your faith and choosing the evil of life. It's so fascinating how people can change to evil and it's so easy to think we are dreaming but it seems to be real sometimes.

One thing that makes me proud and  that I really done well in this course is on my posts that I write on my blog except for the 3 videos and doing all my journals. I am proud of this because it helps me write my thoughts and show people how I feel but also to point out how I see things.

My experience of writing an essay in the past hasn't worked for me or been the best because every time I would write an essay and turn it in then my teacher  a few days later they gave it back to me and the paper had comments like your thesis and your body paragraph don't relate to the topic or the main point. So today during class while the teacher was taking I did learn something that will make my experience better for me in the future. The thing that I learned today was about a guy name Montalgne, but also that the word essay is actually for us to try to make ourselves understood in other peoples perspectives.

Today in class we watched a video were it was saying that their are 3 basic elements to communicate with others it's like creativity. The three basic elements are Domain Knowledge: copying/mimicking other peoples work and their main knowledge, Transformation: very time consuming and the last one is Combinations: gives you bigger results and quickly these are the 3 basic elements to communicate with others. Also other 2 words that are helpful are Implications: original ideas / properly considered, and Two distortion: it's the lone creator and creative work/ idea that are poverty and ideas that contain other ideas.

Do we actually know the people around us or do we think we know them?

It's really important to know people around you because in case something can happen they can always help you out because you have a good communication with them. But it can also help you know if they are actually real and not being fake with you. Also it can help you understand them better. The class activity was a good experience because I got to talk to new people  and  get to know one thing about 10 classmates in my class.

I use two of the memorization strategies to remember Richard Cory and the strategies I used were to rewrite the poem everyday nd to also repeat it to myself. It did help me remember the Richard Cory poem.

The next day we tried to do again a socratic seminar  but again we didn't accomplish nothing because we didn't know what to talk about but at the end we didn't  get to argue about something because we didn't know what to do. So then the teacher was talking about something but we couldn't discus it because we ran out of time.

When I was small I love to read now that I grew I don't read as much because sometimes it is boring. But maybe is just because I don't read the books that are actually interesting but if I  read books that are actually interesting me then  I will read on my spare time. But now that isn't that often because because now that I am in high school I have a lot of stuff to do that I rarely have spare time.

My reaction to this artice is so surprising because it talks about a lot of strategies that can help you remember names, memorize work and remember numbers and much more. For example,  to remember names you have to focus on the text when it's spoken. But to memorize work you have to do is basically due to translation of the abstract for an object into spatial medium. Also to remember numbers it's conjunction with memory palace. For training like a memory champion  really focus on the  visual because it's the most important rather then trying to recall them.

Why is there people in the world who bother to get into people's life and don't mind theirs because instead they are criticizing other than criticizing what they do.

So in my English class we were introduced to a socratic seminar. So the teacher was telling us about it and he gave us like 10 minutes for us to start but everybody was just looking at the person next to them. So then nobody said anything but then someone tried to say something at the end but we couldn't talk about it because it was to late already. Then Mr. Preston told us more about a socratic seminar. He had mention that they were like discussions and that we had to provide facts to back up our opinion. After he was just saying that arguments were not something to fight about because it's just a search for truth. It's just trying to show others the way you think and to give feed back so they can understand the point you are coming from it was just us giving feed back to our opinion..

1) This class is about English but instead of learning boring English we do journals and blogs which we be helpful for us in a way. 2) The easiest part of this class is that you just have to do journals and the teacher talks which we really don't do work except sometimes take notes. 3) The hardest part of the class is that we have a blog and we have to keep up to date with it but sometimes we have other homework from other classes that take us a long times and sometimes we don't have time to write something in our blog. 4) I have learned so far that we can learn a lot with writing things in our blog because it help us express ourselves and let other people know how we feel and think of things and also about technology and how we can use it in different ways. 5) My big question is that Why do the other English classes teach regular boring English instead of having their students create a blogger page?

The book that I am reading is Mob Princess For Money and Love by Todd Strasser. So my first impression so far that I have read the first 50 pages of the book is that so many people choose money over being with their family on a christmas eve. Even though money is somewhat important it's more important to  spend time with our family because you can never know what might happen to them we never know what life has for us. In this book it talks about how the girl's mom goes through a lot that she decided to leave them, but also how her brother just parties all the time and how her dad had another women who is pregnant and he only worried about his business while she is just trying to find away to keep her family together but she couldn't do anything about it.
