The central message of the book the great Gatsby are the American dream, Money and Death. One of them is the American dream because it was like you being a self made man who can be pulled by yourself out of poverty. Also money because it be distinguished by the old money. Which the divided was represented by the bay that was in between the East egg and the West egg. But death because in the novel we had seen the death of some of the important characters which they were Myrtle Wilson, George Wilson and Gatsby too. Therefore it makes us see that the death of the abstract of the American dream.
