What's Nick's cardinal virtue is that he is humble and honest. which it does change the way of how we are going to view nick in the story from now on because you can see him as one true friend to Gatsby and showing he's not fake like others throughout the story. Maybe some of his ideas are supported by the events we have read. I believe that Nick is humble and an honest person.
