What's in a name

The author Joseph Heller had so much fun with the names in the book because they had some type of meaning that people didn't even know about it. His tone toward the characters is satirical because he exaggerates the actions of the characters in a specific way that had drawn the attention to the insanity of war. He was trying to tell the reader about his personal experience he had in world war 2.
